The new Omano CAM 200 microscope camera is clearly designed for microscopes! It provides excellent image clarity with improved color and contrast over most eyepiece cameras in the same price range. A rapid refresh rate makes for an improved user experience with minimal smearing on zoom or repositioning the specimen.
The Scopephoto software is elegantly presented and easy to use. It has basic linear measuring capability that, in using a layering technique, makes no changes to the underlying image. The driver supports DirectShow and TWAIN interface.
This is an excellent camera for use with stereo microscopes. Applications include PCB and industrial inspection, documentation photography, forensic science, hobbyists and education.
